Brides of Dracula (1960)

Summary: Marianne is stuck in an out of the way town, followed by a mysterious stranger. After her coach leaves without her, she ends up staying with the Baronness at her villa. And all hell breaks loose from there. Seems the Baron is a vampire and until she came along, had been successfully kept captive. Marianne’s arrival will cause him to be released and vampires around the world to rise up!           Overall: The film is a sequel to “The Horror of Dracula" (1958) but ends up not actually including the character of Dracula. Seems Christopher Lee and the studios had a bit of a issue. So we get Peter Cushing and a bunch of other “ok” actors. Nothing special here folks. Ending was rushed...and plain silly. A shadow of a cross????? Yeah, right.           Comparison: Dracula meets The Stay Awake
