Cthulhu Mansion (1990)

Summary: A few young punks have decided to shack up with Chandu the Magician and his daughter. Seems their effort to steal some cars went awry and he needed a place of safety. But the problem is, Chandu is harboring some evil spirits and he’s gonna release them. But they are equal opportunity killers and no one in this house is safe.           Overall: Nothing special about this film, other than the ending seems so rushed and quick. I even had to re-wind so I could be sure I understand what happened. Overall the film just wasn’t great and the characters were basically annoying so you didn’t care if they lived or not. Effects weren’t great either. But I have seen worse. But no point catching this...despite the title trying to grab your attention, it’s got nothing to do with H.P. Lovecraft.           Comparison: Suicide Kings meets The Funhouse
