Rest in Pieces (1987)

Summary: Helen’s aunt has just passed away and so she travels to inherit the house with her husband, Bob. But once she arrives, she realizes her aunt’s neighbors are both quirky and dangerous. Seems they really can’t wait for Helen to die and the race is on for Helen to escape alive or die trying.

Overall: The film never truly answers our questions on the status of the aunt's neighbors. Are they ghosts, zombies, immortals, etc? They supposedly died at one point (and no this isn’t a spoiler...gets revealed very early on)...but now they’re alive with no problems...they kill people...but not true motive to do so. Unlike zombies or vampires, they simply are killing people to kill them – no other motivation and it appears to have nothing to do with their own status of “un-dead-ness.” So given all that the film makes little sense...and watching the very end of the film, right as credits roll...doesn’t help either. The title is the best part of the film. Second best being maybe the nudity of the main lead...which occurs quite often. More than half her scenes start with her lying in bed topless, then leaving the bed…
