Voyeur Beach/Watchful Eye/Natural Born Voyeur (2002)
There is a lot more going on than sun, sand and sex in a stunning beach house in Malibu, CA. Dawn, a sexy young woman, has been murdered. A month after her death Dawn's room is rented by Shannon, a sexy stranger. Shannon starts to immerse herself in the lives of her roommates, the party girl Amber, the shy photographer Brooke and the young and naive Chloe. As Shannon delves deeper into this world of endless parties and sexual debauchery, it becomes obvious to her,this house is not what it seems. Overall: With that summary above taken from their website, figured this is much better than I would have done. Frankly, thee characters didn’t even seem this interesting as I watched it. The film tried to be “cinemax-y” with sex scenes but then cuts them off after 1 min to focus back on the mystery and murders. By the time it’s done, you’ll be lucky if you even remember what happened to the multitude of characters they introduced at various times. Not sure I bought any of these people in their roles…acting was either unexciting or over the top. No real reason to watch this, unless you wish to lament at the promise this film had and how it failed to deliver. Comparison: Busty Cops meets Internal Affairs |
