Ab-Normal Beauty/Sei mong se jun (2005)

Summary: Jin is a student photographer, who with her friend, Jas, enjoys shooting beautiful scenes. One day However Jin takes pictures from a nearby car accident. Soon, Jin is aroused and taken in by photographing death. Only when she loses control of her sanity and Js brings her back from the brink, can she realize where she went. However someone has a bigger fascination than Jin does…and that is gonna kill someone!           Overall: There really is two parts to this film. One being Jin and her fascination with death and the second being this masked killer filming snuff movies for Jin. Unfortunately Mr. Pang has troubles reconciling the two together. Basically out of nowhere come these videos with no foresight or prediction of it. It really seems like 2 disjointed ideas forced together. Graciously Mr. Pang agreed to do an interview for me and I totally appreciate his time. Some people didn’t enjoy the first half of his story but loved the second half. Frankly I really enjoyed both parts but felt a little more foreshadowing for this would have worked. Go see it anyway. Prove me wrong!           Comparison: 8MM meets Crash
