Society (1989)

Summary: Billy has grown up all hi9s life feeling that he just didn’t fit in with his family. What he adopted? Just born different? His parents treat his sister different and don’t like his friends. But now Billy is getting a clue when his sister’s ex-boyfriend starts to confront him with startling news about who he’s related to. Soon Billy’s paranoia will become reality. And that’s when it starts to get dangerous!           Overall: If you’ve never seen this film before, probably the first words out of your mouth are “WTF.” This film was easily ahead of its time and just recently (2005) got onto DVD. Not many have seen it and if you haven’t, I totally suggest picking this up. The film is gonna shock you…the effects, although great for 1989, may not be as good in 2005. But that’s not the point. You watch this film for the ideas that effects are showing you! And yes I’m being purposefully vague! :)           Comparison: Beverly Hills 90210 meets Bleeders
