Blood Thirsty (1999)

Celia is looking for a place to live and finds her new roomie to be Whitney. Whitney is a wealthy woman with a large house, and a need for female boarders. A few weeks after Celia moves in, Whitney confronts Celia with her secret, Whitney is a vampire. Well, she likes to drink blood and wants Celia to be her new partner. All of Whitney’s "housemates" have ended up being blood sisters with Whitney and Celia won’t be any different. Despite her nervousness, Celia soon to revel in the blood events and soon finds her own career depends on these gatherings. But just when Celia starts to like it, Whitney sees what sort of monster she created. And now to get Celia to stop, it might just take everything Whitney has to do so, including her life!

Overall: This film is very philosophical in that the characters spend more time talking of sucking blood than actually doing so. The film is definitely a lesbian film, if you didn’t figure that out, but it even tends to disappoint there too. And don’t miss the fact that everywhere Whitney goes, the lights only seem to shine on her eyes. The narrator is actually the best actress in the film - the future new roommate who is telling how Celia and Whitney met and how she is all involved in this ménage à trois. Weak film that tries to bring out the best possible acting in the 2 main actresses, and fails.
