Face (2004)

Summary: Hyun-min is an expert at reconstructing faces from victim’s skulls. Anytime a criminal has sought to disguise the victim’s identity to avoid capture, he comes in to save the day. Unfortunately, his daughter suffers from a rare medical condition, and though she has already had a heart transplant, her condition hasn’t stabilized. He attempts to quit his job to deal with this but his bosses won’t accept because his help is needed one more time. We’ll that and some ghostly apparitions and an unknown assistant come bugging him. Soon he’ll be involved with the identity of this newest victim but what he find out may kill both him and his daughter.

Overall: I liked what the film was trying to and where it attempted to be going. However I also felt the film got confused and threw in way too much stuff. I wanted to be “The Ring” but also “CSI,” “Bone Collector,” and “Copycat.” So if you take the time to watch it, do recognize it’s not an easy movie to predict how it’ll go, because frankly, it doesn’t seem to know either. But a decent little film.
