Summary: Five years later after the original events in the desert. Bobby, the sole survivor, has married Ruby, the “hill girl” who helped save him. She now calls herself Rachel and together they manage a car shop. She goes with a group of riders to a motocross event but the bus breaks down in the desert near her family’s old hunting ground. Ruby is back home and this time her family has a score to settle.

Overall: The more you sit and think about this film, the worse it is. So many levels, it’s actually quite appalling how bad this film is. So let’s go through it.

The film starts off with Bobby and he counts the events and things that have happened, since then. That’s good. Then after he leaves the shrink’s office, his character is done with. Very bad. You bother to bring him back only to have nothing whatsoever to do with the new challenges...considering his wife is going to the event without him. To the same desert they met. Why include his character if he won’t get involved with anything????

They give us a blind character...no problems there. Until it’s just her and another lady...and the dialogue starts off with “look at this.” The “seeing” character apologizes and then explains what’s going on. But why bother with the extra lines??? Just tell them. What’s the point, if they’re all friensd and know each other...why the need to pretend the disabled one is that pathetic???

We see no background of the shop, the event, anything connected to the motorbikes and next thing you know...they’re bus has a flat and frankly, you’ve seen nothing convincing you they’re nothing more than bunch of people on a bus. No exposition or plot development at all!

We get nothing much on the character of Reaper...other than an “brother.” Funny that the first film explains how Jupiter was born and he was an only child.

Our lady connected to the family dies so early on with regards to her family...that our climax has no “soul” to it. Just strangers fighting strangers. You could have had a nice ending if Ruby and Bobby fought side by side, a 2nd time.

Well, the word on the street was a rushed script, rushed shoot time, etc. Excuses, excuses. Wes Craven made a crap film and he’s covering his ass. They had 8 years in between films...don’t talk to me about “rushing.”
