Summary: Ingrid is a single woman who basically afraid of her own shadow. She’s sexually repressed and when a “masked: serial killer is on the loose in this small community, everyone is up in arms. It doesn’t help that Ingrid has some really bad childhood memories of stuff that has happened to her either. Soon enough though, the masked killer and her will meet up and there can be only one winner. She must hope she can pull out all the stops in trying to survive.
Overall: By the time the film ends, and you see the conclusion…you’ll wonder why this film wasn’t better. The ending is easily the best part of the film. But the rest of the film can be long, boring and frankly, with so many opportunities and scenes that basically requiring nudity, not to have something is almost tantamount to heresy. This is when I saw “what’s the point?” If you have a female character entering a shower…the fact she’s nude in the shower is important to the plot than don’t shy away from it. If you don’t want the lead to be nude, then fine…have the scene somewhere else. Otherwise…the film is more like a tease and that doesn’t sit well with me. Comparison: Shattered meets Memento |
