Halloween 2 (2009)

Summary: Michael Myers is still at large and just as dangerous than ever. After a failed reunion to reach his baby sister at their old home, Laurie Strode is immediately taken to a hospital to be treated. However, Michael isn't too far off and will continue his murdering ways until he gets his sister all to himself.           Overall: The film starts where the last Zombie version ended and yet as I watched this, I longed for the original sequel. It’s a dark atmospheric film that frankly just bored me throughout. I longed to figure out who the film was focused on…was it Angel? Loomis? Michael Myers? The film seemed to be unsure of itself but needless to say just kept dragging on and on and on. The appearance by “Weird Al” ended any goodwill the film had going and I was lost from there. It’s not about a killer or his upbringing…it’s about ghosts, media and book tours. Skip it!           Comparison: Halloween 2 (orig) meets In the Mouth of Madness
