Summary: A brutal rape at a bowling alley lead to a major showdown the next day as the victim and her friends confront the rapists and in a team bowling competition. Problem is, everyone is gonna get hurt!

Overall: Let’s get a few things out of the way. The film is not for the squeamish. It’s a very disturbing film with tons of nudity and just as much gore and heinous acts as well. For the most part the deaths are quite unique and gross and gory. And for those who enjoy that sorta stuff, you’ll love the movie. The bad guy, Steve,. Is also evry easy to hate and quite enjoyable in that role. You can’t wait for him to die!!!

A lot of people have criticized the acting which to me wasn’t that bad. The film’s weakness for me is the basic plot. We have the rape, then we get into the “revenge.” In a way it’s supposed to be about bowling…they’re in the building, we have bowling balls everywhere. And frankly the film basically proceeds without anyone actually bowling. I wouldn’t mind so much if the plot itself wasn’t calling for the 2 groups to face off. Instead everyone spend the entire movie running around everywhere else. So I was losing focus at times trying to figure out if the film simply was written poorly or waiting for them to all come back and get on with it. I mean, you’re the rapists…why come back to the scene of what’s obviously an illegal crime, with the victim no less, and their friends, if everyone is simply gonna run around behind the scenes for hours on end. Why take the chance?

The film’s greatness is the gore and violent death scenes. Very inventive and quite well thought out there. Too bad the film’s premise wasn’t as good.
