Summary:
After losing her unborn child, Madeline Matheson insists on carrying the baby to term. Following the delivery, the child miraculously returns to life with an appetite for human blood. Madeline is faced with a mother's ultimate decision.
Overall: I will say there are few movies than can make me squirm but being a father of 2 kids…this might be one of them. It’s a disturbing film, for sure. Given the subject matter…the scenes of the baby…the blood…the obvious undertones of what the kid is up to – mom too for that matter, it’s a hard watch. I will say, it’s more effective and disturbing for those with kids, especially women so I’d strongly suggest if you’re looking for something different, unique, and frankly either scary or horrific…then this is the film for you.
