Overall: What we have here to me seems to be a very confused piece of work. It’s ½ horror, ½ music video. And I think that’s exactly what Cut-N-Run Productions wanted. They tell us in the “making of” documentary. Why not have blood, guts, sex and nudity with some good music. So if that’s what you like, the film is for you. For me, I wanted more of a concise story...as it stands it’s about 28 minutes of the film. I needed more. Not a big fan of so much music video and concert footage in my horror movie so for me, it felt like it didn’t do enough. However, gotta give everyone credit…I loved the gore and effects, great jobs here. Guy cuts off the girl’s foot” scene with the meat grinder was pure genius. No question, they have a future here in horror film making. I’d like more horror, less music, but that’s me. But give credit where credit is due, can’t miss this for the wondering gore and blood scenes! Comparison: Appetite for Destruction meets Night Game |
