Ghosts of Goldfield (2009)

Summary: A group of five led by Julie set up their filming equipment in the hotel of the derelict town of Goldfield, hoping to capture footage of the ghost of Elisabeth Walker, a maid tortured and killed in room 109. Troubled by visions, Julie discovers that a necklace, handed down to her from her grandmother, is somehow connecting her to this tragedy.           Overall: Originally this was conceived to be “Urban Legends 4” and frankly after watching it, can’t understand how that was gonna work out. Nothing remotely similar between this and the first 2 films…ignoring part 3 for now. Anyway, nothing special here. It’s an identical film to “Prison of the Psychotic Dammed” with nothing special here. Sure, it’s got Roddy Piper but with some awfully fake sideburns as well. And what was with the narrative at the end. That was weird…and frankly might be worked better for me at the beginning. For the most part, it just didn’t work at all. Boring and predictable and unimaginative.           Comparison: Prison of the Psychotic Dammed meets The Ghosts of Crowley Hall
