The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942)

Summary: Ygor did not die in Son of Frankenstein but survived in the ruins of the castle. When townsfolk complain that the Frankenstein legend has brought a curse upon their village, the locals storm the castle to destroy it. Barely, escaping the blast, Ygor finds the monster well preserved in the sulfur pit. They escape to the local town of Vasaria and meet up with Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein son of Henry Frankenstein and brother of Baron Wolf Frankenstein. And he thinks he can save the Monster from being mean but Ygor has other ideas!           Overall: I saw little extra here that you haven’t already seen by this point in the Frankenstein films. We do see Lon Cheney Jr. as the Monster and of course more Bela Lugosi as Ygor, but still didn’t get too much out of this film. There are better “Frankenstein” films.           Comparison: Son of Frankenstein meets House of Frankenstein
