Furious, the parents of the victims form a lynch mob and go after the fedora-donned fiend, planning to obtain the revenge the court robbed them of. The parents catch him, and he is burned alive by the enraged mob. They believe they have obtained revenge against the murderer, but Freddy is far from gone.

In the second half-hour, a Springwood High School reunion is visited by the class' most nefarious member, Freddy Krueger. He's particularly eager to renew his acquaintance with Denise, a girl who stood him up for the Senior Prom as a joke; Freddy wants the last laugh. By killing Denise and her writer husband, Freddy ensures that his life story will make it to Hollywood.
