Summary: Cindy and Emma both know something is wrong with the world and also know they're powerless to stop the changes. Seems something is trying to creep into our world and the only thing you can do is get out of the way. problem is, they may not make it to safety!           Overall: This is my first foray into the world that is Gwyn Duffy's (author's photo above). The story was a semi-finalist in 2008 Terror Film Festival (http://www.terrorfilmfestival.net) and 2nd place at the 2009 "A Night of Horror International Film Festival" (http://www.anightofhorror.com/2009_winners.htm). She's showing signs that she'll be a force in the future.           It's a twisted tale! It's a short story but it's shock full of vivid images and disturbing visions that had me re-reading it over and over. Well that and exclaiming, "Oh my God!"           I know it's a story that will haunt you for days afterward as you sit there and wonder how this author conjured up some psychotically disturbing images. For me when she starts discussing the "skinless horses", I had to take a step back and go "Damn!"           Definitely a fascinating story and something to look for in the future.
