Summary:
1) The Psychotic Odyssey of Richard Chase – Story of a man turning into a vampire and his need to feed.
2) Satan Claus – a boy left alone at Christmas conjures up a demon to pay a visit on his parents. 3) Loma Lynda/“The Red Door” – A woman is raped by a man whom she then takes revenge on. 4) Terror! – Scenes from so many horror films spliced together to show us horror film clichés. 5) Born of the Wind – A scientist falls in love with a mummy princess. 6) Manuelle Labor – A woman gives birth but not to a baby! 7) It Gets Worse- Silent film involving fisherman and some weirdness on the boat. Overall: There was some good work here. As weird as “Richard Chase” was with the dolls and stuff, it’s very imaginative and was my favorite. “Satan Claus” was a mere 3 minutes but very interesting. “Terror” I think was almost too interesting as it shows us how obvious and similar horror films are. Splicing together scenes of films showing us how they all basically run the same way. Sorta bummed me out on my favorite genre but obviously great job of editing. Real superb. On the whole, definitively an interesting DVD and worth a watching. |
