Summary: A military research facility in Iraq is damaged by a bomb following some failed experiments, involving a microscopic alien life form that has the ability to raise the dead. However the base gets overrun by hyper-bloodthirsty zombies. The one survivor of the base, Dr Hall, manages to make it back to the US where he hopes to continue the experiments. He chooses a run-down hotel in a very bard area frequented by gang members. The zombies might be the least of his concerns!!
Overall: I thought that was one of the few films where I really had issues with actual plot details. What was the guy doing in that neighborhood…in just some average apartment? What was he thinking in the first place??? It could only end in disaster! Ok, on to the acting, effects and cinematography. Yeah, nothing to be seen here…keep moving. Just didn’t do anything for me, at all. Waste of time. The one part of the film that is worth watching: Sandra Ramirez. Nice acting, gorgeous woman – every scene of hers is worth watching. Comparison: Sand Serpents meets Mutant Zombies from the Hood |
