Evil Awakening (2008)

Summary: It’s the CochWoods and there’s a monster purportedly running around in Ludlow Massachusetts. Problem is, it seems that hundreds of years ago an evil was killed and buried there, and that evil remains in tow unless someone masturbates in the woods. Well, someone has awakened the evil and it's killing anyone who heads out there.           Overall: I’ve seen Geno’s other work and you can see this film is rough compared to the more recent work. It’s still showing some promise and frankly a lot of it was just funny and entertaining. Especially watching the characters discuss masturbation and awakening the monster as if their lives depended on the seriousness of their talks. The effects are “ok” at times but Geno’s getting better. It’s worth it to watch a low budget film and some entertaining work at play here! Frankly I loved our TV reporter…that guy was funny!           Comparison: Rise of the Scarecrows meets Batbabe
