- Erica Mooney has appeared in a few movies, including "Stockholm Syndrome". Anyone looking for more info on Erica or her films, can visit her at her myspace page.

Q: Erica, can you explain how you first got into the movie business?

A: I first started out in the modeling business when I was 21, and then decided to try something different...acting. I have always loved being in front of the camera, so I gave it a shot.

Q: Would you please explain your acting role in "Stockholm Syndrome."

A:I was a prisoner and tortured young lady of a horrible man!

Q: Knowing how movie reviews may skew the perception of one's product, give us in your own words what you want people to know about the film.

A: Well first off, it was a blast making it. Also learning new and different concepts was great. Second, from my experience in horror films, this is one crazy, stomach turning, gut exploding , leave you on the edge of you’re seat film!

Q: If there were one part of the filming that was more difficult than you expected, what would that be? Getting a costume to work? Appearing in a certain scene? Certain lines?

A: I would have to say the weather. It was so cold, and when you have to stand half to completely naked in a scene, it is unbearable.

Q: Was there any one day, one moment where you just knew the film would work they way you thought it could?

A: Not really, everything seemed to flow smoothly.

Q: You mentioned that you are currently working on other films. Can you tell us what they are and what roles you have in them?

A: I am currently working on a short film about a couple of guys who are very serious about sports. I am the T.V reporter who interviews the players. Another movie that I am working on is another horror, and in this I am a stripper.

Q: What's next for you? If you and I were to talk 1 year from today, what do you think would be on your plate at that time?

A: That is hard to say. I enjoy doing a lot of different activities. I really never know what I am going to get myself into! If I hear of something that is of interest then I will go and seek it.

Q: Is there any movie director or producer you really want to work for one day?

          A: No not really.

Q: Are there certain films you enjoy doing? You’ve appeared in some films with horror elements in them, but others tend to be diverse and just look like you’re out to have some fun. What do you look for when picking films?

A: I enjoy action, comedy and drama. I feel that if I am going to be in a certain film or play a certain part it should be something that is close to my personality.

Q: You’ve appeared in a few films, but have also done some plays and even modeling, correct? Can you tell us where we may have seen you in those various projects?

A: My first film was Stockholm Syndrome. The plays that I have performed were from my high school days. Modeling: I have done various things with that. I have done promotions with Coors Light, Bud Light, Miss Hawaiin Tropic. I have done trade/car shows and bridal shows. I have worked with many companies. . Harley Davidson, Tully’s, Quaker Steak n Lube , Maxim, Pittsburgh Modeling Company, AM Girls, etc.

Q: If you could choose only one type of art (modeling, plays, movies, etc) to continue working on, what would you choose?

A: I would have to say modeling

Q: Anything you wish to add for my readers and visitors? Something special about you that they probably do not know?

A: I have a very soft side to me. My acting and modeling is just a part time deal. My main job is working with special needs and at risk youth. Do not judge a book by it’s cover ;)

Q: Finally...this is an "Obscure Horror Movie" website. Can you name the last horror movie you watched either at the theatres or on dvd, etc? How about name a favorite horror film that you have seen that most people probably haven't seen?

A: The new Friday the 13th. I don’t think I could name a favorite horror movie, I have way too many!

Q: Thank you very much for doing this.

A: you are very welcome ;)
