Eden Lake (2008)

Summary: Refusing to let anything spoil their romantic weekend break, a young couple end up in a race for survival with a gang of young kids with brutal intentions.           Overall: The film is really good, especially the ending. You have to wonder why the couple bother engaging with the kids, probably just thinking the kids are too young to truly be a danger. But as we see, they’re dangerous and lethal! In many ways it’s sorta like “lord of the Flies” for the kids – completely out of control with no regard for others. What was classic was the ending. I won’t give it away but it’s really thought provoking and terrifying! Good stuff here.           Comparison: Lord of the Flies meets Hostel
