Earth vs. the Spider (1958)

          Summary: Mike and Carol are high school students who end up encountering a giant mutated spider. After feeling that they’ve killed it, the local town decides to mount it temporarily in the local high school gym. However, the students end up re-awakening it and all hell breaks loose. Can Earth survive?


          Overall: This really was a bad, bad film. It’s boring, has awful effects and frankly never kept my attention. I tried and tried but nothing here is worth the time wasted in this video endeavor. If you must watch a film with the title, the newer film is easily superior. And that film isn’t good either. But the movie here never gets off on the right foot and clearly can’t reverse the bad trends. Skip it.
