Drawing Blood (2004)

Summary: George Adams has the house all to himself…the wife has left on a trip and he can just relax, have some friends over, watch a ballgame. However what George wasn’t counting on was that a mental patient has escaped from a nearby asylum and his house, used to be the patient’s childhood home. George is about to have a visitor…and he’s not gonna like what happens inside.           Overall: Although I found the story a bit far-fetched given the fact the entire film, everyone seems to spend more time in George’s house, than George does…it was a good film. Some good acting, nice cinematography. Decent indie film, that wasn’t afraid of a bit of nudity. And frankly, they’re one scene with the neighbors where the husband tries to be all tough, that I actually enjoyed. The ending was a bit unsatisfying but that’s ok. Nice indie film here.           Comparison: Halloween meets Hide & Seek
