Draniac (2000)

Summary: Julie and her friends are cleaning up an old house with her dad. But he’s only using this to get his daughter to stay busy so he can vanish, drink and complain about his problems. Of course the house has something spooky going on there and everyone around better be aware!           Overall: I’m sure for the $$ spent originally on the film, this is the best they could do…but I wasn’t buying into it. My standing rule always has been: If you can’t afford good effects, to use bad ones. This film unfortunately goes afoul of my rule. Toss in some pretty bad acting and the film is hard to sit through. No reason to catch this, sorry.           Comparison: Prince of Darkness meets Evil Dead
