Summary: Sergeant Wells and his troops are in the Scott5ish Highlands on a training exercise when they find the leader of the Special Forces team all by himself and dead bodies everywhere. Seems the woods are home to some werewolves and even this soldiers don’t stand a chance. That is until they meet Megan, a scientist who thinks she can help them. Until she becomes a victim herself.

Overall: We do have a decent werewolf film here but nowhere near lives up to the hype that the internet has given to it. Decent, film, nice gore…but not in the “Ginger Snaps” league at all. I think the films biggest problem lies with the scenes surrounded Sgt. Wells. He gets his guts ripped out of him so his buddies drag him to Megan’s house and eventually superglue his guts inside him. Hey maybe I buy that can happen. However as the film goes on…he starts to get better, not worse and soon enough he’s standing with everyone else, fighting along side them. And not until he’s fully healed and we’re almost at the climax do we find out why. So the audience spends about 20 minutes or more staring at the screen in disbelief and whatever else emotions waiting for the reason…which never seems to come fast enough. Sure, by the end I buy it. Maybe. But I needed that a lot sooner because you were losing me! It has a “Jeepers Creepers” quality to it…in that it’ not gonna explain much about our monster, just the fact people have to just deal with it. And that’s fine. But what really was the point of the opening scene again with Cooper failing his training? He ends up dealing with Captain Ryan again and frankly had that scene not existed…the movie chances not one iota.
