Summary: Trace has come back home to Puerta Vallarta and his arrival coincides with a 150 million year old “dino-shark.” Needless to say his friends start dying and he might be the only one who can survive the shark’s voracious appetite.
Overall: Usual bad Sci-Fi Channel fare. Bad effects and atrocious acting. What’s just as bad was our main actor’s accent. We’ve seen him in way too many roles without one, so when he tries to add some sorta “Mexican” accent, he can’t even keep it throughout the entire film. You’ll notice his slip-ups. It’s silly, stupid and unimaginative. The shark frankly was too much of a “plated dinosaur” and so sorta loses the scariness. It’s like a giant whale. But bottom line, it’s very skippable!
