Summary: Dr. Carruthers is upset that his employers seemingly think so little of him and therefore alters his scientific experiments to turn on them and their families. He’s been working on bats and enlarging techniques and soon has everyone in the town being attacked by the giant bat. But 2 reporters are on the bat’s trail and if they don’t run into the keystone kops, they might actually track down the mastermind behind this.

Overall: The film is by no means scary and frankly, although the 1930’s seemed to like the “horror” films with bungling comedic reporters, I still don’t. So again, a comedy with some horror elements to it. The effects are fairly atrocious and frankly only Bela Lugosi fans need watch this.

          Comparison: White Zombie meets Bats
