The Descent 2 (2010)

Summary: A rescue team composed is trying to locate the six women lost from the first film, in the caves of the Appalachian Mountains. Soon enough, Sarah is found, covered with blood, by a truck driver and brought to the Hospital. Sheriff Vaines suspects that Sarah has killed her friends and forces her to return to the Caves together with his Deputy and the rescue team. They search the caves and soon find what Sarah barely survived the last time: a savage breed of predators while trying to find a way out.           Overall: I really enjoyed the first film and this is a nice sequel and follo0w-up, It takes place right after the first film and ends up working really well together. I enjoyed the connection with Juno ere as well as the final climax as the various surviving ladies try and escape. I though the last seconds of the ending was a little…of a cop-out. Sorta felt like we went 2 whole films just for “that weak stuff.” Eh…but don’t let it diminish your enjoyment of the rest of the film.           Comparison: The Descent meets The Cave
