Demonic Toys 2 (2010)

Summary: Dr. Lorca is a collector of many rare toys and dolls. When he hears of an ancient doll being discovered in an Italian castle, he can’t pass up the opportunity to acquire it. Caitlyn is the representative of the university who oversees the castle’s preservation. When Dr. Lorca arrives with his “demonic dolls,” a secret force brings them back to life and puts everyone at risk!!!!           Overall: I love the ideas that Full Moon has but I don’t always love their films. They’ve done many, many “doll” films and frankly much of them are better than what you get here. We get little actual doll movement and more of them talking and making noises. They try to connect the characters and storyline to the previous films but for the most part the film is tedious. Not much here. The CGI is bad and the dialogue is worse. On a positive note, was the actual puppet costumes/bodies. Those were quite impressive however. But not sure there was much here to enjoy!           Comparison: Castle Freak meets Puppet Master
