The Vigilante is back and he’s more pissed off than ever. Paul Kersey is in New York, again, and the woman he’s about to married to has run-ins with her ex-husband. He is Tommy O’Shea and happens to be a mobster. He hates the fact this his ex-wife, Olivia Regent, gets to keep their daughter, Chelsea. But at least he is able to use her fashion design company as his money laundering operation. But Olivia refuses to help Tommy and more and when he decides her pretty face needs to be smashed in, Paul reacts. Paul is getting help from 2 D.A. officers (Brian and Hector) who have helped him go underground via Witness Protection Program but every time he talks to them, the info gets to O’Shea. Having had enough of this culminates when O’Shea’s men kill Olivia and almost
kill Paul. Then Chelsea is taken away too. Paul is so mad now, he must act but he can’t even trust the police. That is when Paul gets creative, and when he does, people die. But will it be Paul who becomes the final victim of this 20 year Vigilante Spree?
Overall: Very bad film with few redeeming qualities to it. The best part was the exploding soccer ball - on a remote control no less. The bad guys are weak, and can’t seem to kill anyone and it is fairly obvious from the start which cop is the snitch. What I don’t get was the weak intro of the Witness Protection Program. Who was he testifying against and why would he, of all people, need protection? Or to disappear? Surprisingly no one gets raped in this film, first in 5 tries but once again the loved one is killed. Comparison: Ready to Wear meets Waxwork |
