Dead Mary (2007)

Summary: Kim and her boyfriend Matt have just broken up, but they travel together to a cottage nearby a lake to spend the weekend with their friends Eve, Dash and his wife Amber, Baker and his new girlfriend Lily. The atmosphere becomes uncomfortable with the situation between Kim and Matt, and one of them suggests them to play "Dead Mary". Matt ends up the first victim to the weird spirit that gets released when “Dead Mary” is summoned and soon they turn on each other!!!           Overall: It’s a decent enough film which some spooks and intrigue. Takes a long time to get to the point but keeps the pace up from there. 2 scenes fascinated me though. One has Dash all tied up trying to get Amber to save him and I though it was textbook how NOT to get yourself saved by a weak woman. Man, he doesn’t know when to stop huh? And frankly I sorta loved the way the film ends with our 3 “survivors” and the abrupt end to which it finishes. Was sorta cool.
