Deadlands: The Rising (2006)

Summary: Gary and Brian, who are trying to get back from a trip into the woods to their family, Michelle, Brian's wife and their son. But recently an explosion has awoken the dead and everyone will soon become a victim.           Overall: The film suffers from the fact it sorts just slams to a halt without much of an ending...and the fact it adds nothing new to the genre. It’s the same old thing with nothing out there. However, these creators got start somewhere and their final product is fairly decent for an indie film. Acting and effects are fairly nice for such a low-budget adventure. So I’ll give them props for having to start somewhere!           Comparison: Dawn of the Dead meets Deep Impact
