Dark Reel (2009)

Summary: Adam is a big movie fan and has won a contest in which he gets a “walk-on” role to the movie “Pirate Wench.” He instantly falls for actress Cassie Blue but something just isn’t quite right on the movie set. When people start to die, everything thinks the crazy horror fan did it. How can Adam prove his innocence before he dies too!           Overall: Neat little flick with such a great cast: Tiffany Shepis, Tony Todd, Lance Henriksen, etc. It’s not a scary movie but will keep you guessing on who the killer is. The motive is fairly obvious early however. The film works because all the characters are just quirky enough to keep them interesting. And since when have you seen Tiffany Shepis as the dainty love interest? Loved the scissor death at the end. Worth a watch!           Comparison: Urban Legends 2 meets Black Dahlia
