Dark Corners (2007)

Summary: Susan Hamilton is just trying to get pregnant but finding all sorts of avenues closing to her. Karen Clarke is having a real problem because everytime she wakes up, she’s more bruised than when she woke up. And there’s this weird serial killer running around. Problem is…neither lady exists in the same reality as the other but the killer lives in both!!!           Overall: The film can be quite confusing and definitely is a complex watching. Trust me when I say, don’t spend too much time either assuming you know how the film will turn out, or trying to deduce the secret. The ending is a huge twist and it’ll probably not be what you were thinking of! I think we see a good job by Thora playing the dual roles…but if anything, I spent too much time wondering what she’s been up to since “American Beauty.” It can be quite a scary and disturbing film at times, but I needed a little more plot with our killer and stuff and less with the detective and the fetus killing…           Comparison: Groundhog Day meets The Watcher
