Escaping from a Mental Hospital, Patricia Stanley is found by Andre Delambre’s grandson Martin. They quickly fall in love with and he proposes to her, unaware of her past. They return to his home where Martin and his father are conducting teleportation experiments. But things are still not perfected with the machine and once Patricia finds out what’s going on, all hell is gonna break loose.
Overall: What can I say about this film other than point out what is missing: The Fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are no flies but just mutated humans due to multiple teleportations gone wrong. I’ll forgive the lack of a Vincent Price (although that didn’t help) but you can’t not include the insect! That’s the whole point. Well the story goes downhill even within itself as the mutated people are never really explained what happened and why. And what was with casting a white lady to play an Asian lady...uh, guys...it was obvious she’s not Asian. And I’ll say I loved the beginning to this movie but did you need to have the lady wearing “grannies”????? Overall, this film is quite weak in and of itself but placed into the body of work that is the series, it’s just a mess. Skip it! Comparison: The Fly meets Exotica |
