Curse of the Demon (1957)

Summary: Dr. John Holden ventures to London to attend a paranormal psychology symposium with the intention of exposing devil cult leader, Julian Karswell. Holden does not believe in Karswell's power. But he accepts an invitation to stay at Karswell's estate to help take him down. But Karswell won’t go down quietly…and secretly slips a parchment into Holden's papers that might possibly be a death curse. The race is on for Holden to stop the curse or die trying!           Overall: I didn’t really think much of the film. The acting is “eh” and the story is even more “eh.” Sorta a wasted black and white film that doesn’t do really anything interesting.           Comparison: Dead of Night meets Witchboard
