The Curse of the Cat People (1944)

Summary: After the death of Irena, Oliver Reed married Alice Moore and they have a young daughter, Aimee. Aimee finds a photo of Irena, whose name she’s never heard of before and soon Irena’s ghost appears to her and the two begin a friendship. But dad isn’t happy about this and we’ll soon see why!

Overall: Ok, I sorta made the film sound more ominous than it is. It’s a family/drama film without any cats, any cat people or even any scares. It’s the same individuals from the first film and having practically no connection to that film. It’s basically about a lonely girl who has an “imaginary” friend. That’s it. If you skipped the opening where the title was given, you’d think it was some old Disney film. Really no point in watching this movie. Not scary...not about cat people, werewolves or even having much action at all.
