Curse of Halloween (2006)

Summary: Several people are cursed to die on Halloween Night when they wake the Great Queen Pumpkin during a sacrifice. Now the must fight to survive when the Queen Pumpkin goes out Halloween Night on a killing spree. How many people must die on Halloween Night before the Pumpkin is stopped. (taken from the DVD cover)           Overall: Ok, Jeremy...now I’ve had enough. Whatever is written on the dvd cover is not what ends up on dvd itself. This movie is approximately 50 minutes long, and 42 minutes of it is his film “Don’t Turn Around” presented almost in its entirety. That was already a bad film but he basically just re-splices an existing film into this and passes it off as a flashback to a sequel of sorts. Then we get our intrepid narrator throwing in some monologue before we get 11 minutes of some scenes of 3 girls on a boat with the guys and some beach frolicking…and some music drowning out it all. Not all of it is one continuous shot but more of how these people’s day is going. So…at the 55 minutes mark we’ve had exactly 3 actual minutes of new dialogue! Total!!!!!!!! And the film ends 5 minutes later! That’s it. That’s the film. And his 42 minutes of rehashed stuff had nothing to do with his printed plot from the dvd cover. Nothing in the film other that our narrator has anything to do with his plot. I’m not sure what Jeremy was trying to accomplish here but he gave us nothing. It’s like he had to produce a movie and hope at least 10 people bought this without looking into their purchase and he just needed a few dollars. That’s it. It’s probably the worst film…or better yet, the worse attempt at a film…in the history of film. There’s nothing here. I will actually be instituting a ban of Isbell’s “work” (and I use that term loosely) on my website. Because now he’s just scamming people. It’s such a crock that he can find distributors to accept his stuff…and don’t look at me, I didn’t pay for my copy!           Comparison: Nothing
