Summary:
Four girls are off for fun near Arizona/Mexico border when they get involved with the spirit of El Charro, an evil 18th-century land baron who slaughtered the family of a young woman who had spurned his romantic advances. They must figure out who he is and how to stop them before their Spring Break ends in their deaths!
Overall: It was a decent film that had a lot of neat ideas, including the silent film narratives for “El Charro.” I felt like it was a scary version of “The Three Amigos” actually. Anyway, my biggest problem was the characters. The moment you see the 4 main ladies, you can’t see how any of them are friends with each other at all. Suspension of disbelieve is needed to finish the movie. If you can get through that, the constant drug use and dangerous sexual escapades, you might enjoy the movie.
