Cube Zero (2005)

Dodd & Wynn have uniqiue jobs. They exist to watch the Cube and their participants. But this time, one of the contestants may not be there of her own free will. The more the guards find out about the Cube and its design, the more they need to help the “victims.” But the creators of the Cube have purposes to everything and letting people live, isn’t one of them.           Overall: Frankly any sequel was gonna be better than part 2. Even more interesting is how universally reviled part 2 is, even by the makers of part 3. Wanting to get back down to basics and the first film, this movie does its job. It brings us back to possible original ideas for Cube creation and for the traps. It’s got some decent acting but the ideas to show the people who watch the Cube was most ingenious. Definitely a good call in making this film.           Comparison: Cube meets Murder in the First
