- Crystal Allen has appeared in a few movies, including the starring roles in "Anaconda 3 & 4". Anyone looking for more info on Crystal or her films, can visit her at her IMDB page or her website.

Q: Ms. Allen, can you explain how you first got into the movie business?

A: In NYC. I started booking small parts in features like "Maid in Manhattan" and then guest spots on Sopranos, Sex and the City, Ed.

Q: I see that you’ve starred in the last two “Anaconda” films. Can you tell me a little about each film and your experience with it?

A: I played an action tough chick which was perfect for me! I did all my own stunts and role was very physical, alot of running. In Anaconda 3 I beat up David Hasselhoff, check it out at end of film it's best part of flick! It was challenging, my last lead was a romantic comedy so this was more work. I like to be challenged.

Q: Did you see either of the previous 2 “Anaconda” movies before working on Part 3? If so, what did you think about them?

A: You know what I never did. I booked it and I was off within a week to Romania for 2 months to shoot back to back films. I never got a chance but I am glad cause it was a different story line from the first two and I wanted to make it my own.

Q: Knowing how movie reviews may skew the perception of one's product, give us in your own words what you want people to know about the 2 films: Anaconda 3 & Anaconda 4.

A: They are what they are, "snake movies", and we all know what that entails... They are entertaining, funny at times, and the CGI is better on the second. I like 3 better actually, David was hilarious.

Q: If there were one part of the filmings that was more difficult than you expected, what would that be? Getting a costume to work? Appearing in a certain scene? Certain lines?

A: The day of fight scene I got hurt, falling down on concrete ect, that's why it looks so real cause I was really giving it my all! The falling in mud face first over and over again was not a day at the park. The director had me do it like 7 times cause he wanted to get the shot of my face slapping down into the mud. Then there's putting on that muddy tank top day after day cause I only wore one outfit most of movie. (of course there were 5 or 6 of the same top, different versions) It was all hard with dried mud and fake blood, pretty gross. Some of the scientific jargon I thought would be tough to remember, but I got through somehow.

Q: Looking back, I see that you’ve also appeared in “Wolves of Wall Street”. Can you tell me a little about the film and your experience with it?

A: Not much, it was a silly movie with Eric Roberts I never saw the film.

Q: What’s it like to work with David DeCoteau?

A: A He was cool, but had me crawling along the floor at one point for one of the Vampire scenes, was funny.

Q: What's next for you? Can you tell me what you have going on in 2009?

A: My episode just aired on Prison Break, and since then it's been slow this year but I will be doing some personal appearances at some conventions to sign photos etc in and out of country to promote 2 films, I’ll let you know where!

Q: If you and I were to talk 1 year from today, what do you think would be on your plate at that time?

A: I will be on a series or working on lead in film.

Q: Is there any movie director or producer you really want to work for one day?

A: Woody Allen, big fan, seen every one of his films.

Q: Are there certain types of films you enjoy doing? What do you look for when picking projects?

A: A good story. I like doing all different parts. I would love to do a role where I play a psychopath, a troubled woman, cause there is so much freedom in a role like that, you can really go for it and fly off the handle at any moment.

Q: You’ve appeared in a few films, but have also done some television shows, theatre, modeling too, correct? Can you tell me where we may have seen you in those various projects?

A: Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal, Enterprise, Prison Break, Falling in Love with the Girl Next Door are a few. I modeled all over world, based myself in NYC. I did campaigns for Loreal, Tic Tac, Quervo Gold, those are some. I danced in Broadway revues in Monaco and Japan and NYC.

Q: If you could choose only one type of art (modeling, movies, television shows, etc) to continue working on, what would you choose?

A: Movies or TV I think. Although my dream role would be to incorporate my singing and dancing to do a movie like Chicago or Mamma Mia.

Q: Anything you wish to add for my readers and visitors? Something special about you that they probably do not know?

A:I am a fantastic cook, I love having friends over to enjoy my food!

Q: Finally...this is an "Obscure Horror Movie" website. Can you name the last horror movie you watched either at the theatres or on dvd, etc? How about name a favorite horror film that you have seen that most people probably haven't seen?

A: I'm too scared to watch them! I guess Saw was the most intriguing written one's I'd have to say.

Q: Thank you very much for doing this.

          A:You're welcome.
