Summary:
Jason Carraway is relishing his good luck. Newly wed to a beautiful young bride, Kate, who is expecting their first child, he takes her back to his hometown to settle down. After Kate's unusual doll collection arrives, a darkness settles over her and seeps into their marriage - causing Jason to wonder if he truly knows his wife, or if he has married into madness.
Overall: Always a fan of Steve Hudgins work so this won’t be a surprise. I enjoyed the film. Low budget but he always gets the best out of acting crew, including the always impressive Cindy Maples. The film builds to its climax and does a good job of helping you buy into Kate’s issues and Jason’s concerns. And of course, the film wouldn’t be any good unless “the creepy doll” was actually “creepy.” And it was…so go find yourself a copy! Comparison: Orphan meets Child’s Play |
