Q: Claude, can you explain how you first got into the movie business?

A: This is actually my first full length movie. Ive been doing small sketch comedies for years with The Oatmeal Man Director Sean Gordon and Writer Jesse Gordon. So Sean approached me with this part saying it would be perfect for me…and I think it was!

Q: Would you please explain your acting role in "The Oatmeal Man."

A: Well, the awesome part is that I really didn’t need to act! Haha The role that I play, “Clive”, is basically me. The relationships that Clive and the other male characters have was also very real and natural. Minus the whole oatmeal man trying to kill us thing… the experience was very reminiscent of Sean, Sal, and I at 19years old again. Great!

Q: Knowing how movie reviews may skew the perception of one's product, give us in your own words what you want people to know about the film.

A: That The Oatmeal Man is just a fun movie that doesn’t try to take itself too seriously. Were mostly just a group of people who happen to be fans of all movies and the movie making process, and then made one!

Q: If there were one part of the filming that was more difficult than you expected, what would that be? Getting a costume to work? Appearing in a certain scene? Certain lines?

A: Well for me, unlike the rest of the cast, this isn’t what I do for a living, and for the first time I was working with people I’ve never met before. So I had nerves like the Fat kid at a new school when I went in for the table read. But once I met everyone and got through the table read, there really wasn’t anything difficult I ran into. OH, except filming in Hills of Colton CA, it was hot as hell and I happen to be wearing a winter coat of skin at all times, so I was sweating profusely on the hot Colton days!! That was difficult!!

Q: Was there any one day, one moment where you just knew the film would work the way you thought it could?

A: Yeah, I think the night I watched Moira Dennis and Nicole Kunz do a pretty dramatic role, screaming and crying and all that bit…I thought to myself, Wow, They just sold me so hard on that scene and Im standing right in front of them, knowing it’s a movie…that was a really cool experience

Q: Can you tell me a little bit about other work you have done? Tell us also about “Colossal Theatre.”

A: As I said previously, this is my first full length movie. I’ve worked mostly in sketch comedy and skits of a comical or bizarre nature. Colossal Theatre is forever in my heart. I got to do fun and stupid stuff on camera with my closest friends. We did everything in the CT days, from inappropriate sketches to even seasonal holiday shows, including fake commercials and the whole bit.

Q: What's next for you? What else does 2010 hold for you?

A: Well, What ever Sean Gordon or Jesse Gordon wants me to do, that’s what im doing as far as the acting business goes. Other than that I will just be continuing my education and working my day job.

Q: Is there any movie director or producer you really want to work for one day? Or perhaps any actors or actresses you’d like to star with in a film?

A: Wow, well Im all about Kevin Smith! I love that man, in a hetero life mate kinda way! To be honest, Id love to work for any director that seems to have that whole “all in the family” vibe, like the Sandler crew, or the Seth Rogen crew, if that makes sense….

Q: What do you look for when picking projects?

A: Well I think I do comedy naturally, But Im sure any actor known for being a comedian, or always playing that role, wants to do something different like a super dramatic role, or a psycho killer role. I think that would be awesome!

Q: Finally...this is an "Obscure Horror Movie" website. Can you name the last horror movie you watched either at the theatres or on dvd, etc? How about name a favorite horror film that you have seen that most people probably haven't seen?

A: Wow, Last Horror on DVD, Last House on the left. Good movie, I think the original was better.

Fave horror film that most haven’t seen….Bad Taste! Hahah what a great flick. The movie fits well on your website in my opinion!

Q: Thank you very much for doing this.
