Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant (2009)

Summary: A young boy named Darren meets a mysterious man at a freak show who turns out to be a Vampire. After a series of events, Darren must leave his normal life and go on the road with the Cirque Du Freak and become a Vampire to keep his family safe.           Overall: The film plays like a wanna-be scary PG film. It’s similar to the “Goosebumps” books. Sorta in the scary vein but still ok for 12 year olds. It’s an amusing film but not very much for adults I think. It’s more trying to make a point to kids that every action has consequences and be careful for what you wish for.           Comparison: Cirque du Soleil meets Hocus Pocus
