Summary: All is not well in sleepy suburbia....Woken in the middle of the night, teenager Sara finds her parents tied to their bed by a terrifying intruder. An intricate hour-glass filled with blood is placed before her and she is told that she has 60 seconds to choose which of her parents should die. If she doesn’t make the choice then both of them will perish at the hands of the deranged killer. Who is the scarred man and why has he chosen Sara and her family as his victims? Marcus Graves’ new slasher flick will have you squirming in your seat as the gruesome horror unfolds.
Overall: Well reading that official synopsis you’d think that “Sara” was our main character and yet minutes into the film, it’s all over. Anyway, the film then follows Fiona who seems to be stalked by our “choice” killer and her goal is to find out why. I thought the film really had a lot of promise but what I did notice is that once our killer and Fiona really get together, man that film ended fast. I really expected another 10-15 minutes of action. The film loads up on the back-story…loads up on Fiona investigating but once her and the killer interact, it’s over in a hurry. Decent film though.
