Charlie's Death Wish (2005)

Summary: Charlie is out to avenge the murder of her sister who died while in police custody, as the hands of some very violent criminals. So she’s gonna find everyone responsible and make sure they don’t get away with it. But one cop is onto her acts and he’s torn between letting her get away with doing his job for him, and not letting things spiral out of control.           Overall: It’s a wanna-be “Death Wish” film…if you can’t tell by both the title and the plot…or even the first name of the title. The film seems to try hard at times and has some good gore, but then uses miniatures, poor acting, and unrealistic decision-making. Check this, a lady opens the door to her home and sees a stranger claiming to have had an accident crashing into the lady’s car. Then the stranger asks our lady to hop into the trunk of the car so they can go to the bank to get money to pay for the damages!!!! Huh??? And the conspiracy guy storyline sorta seemed too loosely connected and more of just a time filler than having anything to do with anything. It was just wasting time. Regardless of which obscure rock stars or porn stars appear in the film, not really worth a viewing!           Comparison: Death Wish meets Orgasmo
