Casting Call (2007)

Summary: 5 women answer a vague casting call advertisement for an upcoming horror film. The unlucky ones are asked to come back for a second audition. Unfortunately this might be a role that should have declined. Getting the job could mean your death!           Overall: I enjoyed this short film. The actresses got to improv and boy, did that work. They came across as genuine, heartfelt, and flat out hilarious. I was enjoying them as they tried to ask important questions but being vague enough to not want to lose the job by asking something rude or stupid. They were just clueless enough to make this work. My disappointment was how soon it ended. I wanted more!!! But no question, we’ve got some good ideas and material here!!           Comparison: The Cutting Room meets Voyeur Beach
