Canvas of Blood (1997)

Summary: A former Vietnam Veteran turned artists has a daughter who’s surgrery on her wrist goes wrong. He’s upset and tried to sue but his attorney conspires with hospital to cover it up. The dad gets involved in this and learned the truth so he seeks revenge on everyone. Blood will flow.           Overall: The film was such a mess. The first 15 minutes have no cohesion and frankly if I hadn’t read the plot and hit “pause” at the fifteen minute mark, I could not have correctly guess who the main characters are. The film does ok in the middle as they create weird contraptions for our artist to exact revenge on everyone. Then the ending...huh? What was that and where did it come from? Skip the film.           Comparison: Batman meets Saw
